Hello dedicated HAITO Karate & Self-Defence Club Students! 👋

Are you ready for the upcoming belt grading this week? Feeling excited? 😊 Nervous? 😨 Stressed? 😰

Don’t fret! This might seem like an anxiety-inducing experience but remember to embrace the excitement and remain confident in yourself. You have been training for months and now it’s time to collect the belt after the grading!

Stay Positive and Focused 💪

Approach the grading with a clear and focused mind. Visualize success and keep your thoughts positive. Mistakes or unexpected events are not roadblocks, but opportunities for growth. If you stumble, see it as a minor setback and bounce back with determination.

You Are Prepared! 🌟

Think about the incredible effort and commitment you’ve put into reaching this point. Countless hours of training have prepared you for this belt grading. You possess all the necessary skills to excel. Take a deep breath, centre yourself, and believe in your abilities. Embrace the challenge wholeheartedly, giving it everything you’ve got. Remember, luck favours the prepared, and you are well-prepared for this moment!

Attendance Is Mandatory 📣

Gradings take longer than normal classes, but you cannot leave before grading finishes – NO EXCEPTIONS. Even if you do not have a grading this time, attend the class and support your friends!

Dress Code and Hydration 🥋💦

Full and tidy uniform is a must (trousers, top, belt, and for girls – a plain white t-shirt). Also, bring your protective equipment for higher belt gradings and a BOTTLE OF WATER. If you miss any of these, you will not be graded – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Guests and Conduct 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

You can bring family members and a friend to watch and support you. But remember, spectators must remain respectful and quiet throughout the grading. Unfortunately, due to loud noises and potential distractions, we cannot accommodate babies in the Dojo.

Capture the Moment! 📷

You’re allowed to take videos and pictures during the grading, without disturbing the students. Sensei Gabi will also be capturing moments to share on social media. If you prefer not to have your child in the photos, please inform Sensei Gabi.

Post-Grading Ceremony 🏆

After grading, Sensei Gabi will award belts and certificates to students who passed. Group and individual photos will be taken, and parents are allowed to snap pictures too.

Exceptions and Emergencies 🚨

For unforeseen circumstances such as sickness or planned holidays, please inform Sensei Gabi. Arrangements will be made for individual gradings. If you do not show up without informing us, you’ll have to wait for the next grading – NO EXCEPTIONS.
