Special Thanks to Our Fellow Warriors

We couldn’t have pulled off such an amazing event without the support of some key players. Big shoutout to:

  • Mantas Zamba and his incredible squad from Northampton Kyokushin Karate.
  • Daljit Virdee from Budo Collective and Virdee Goju-Ryu Karate.
  • Zoltan Varsanyi and the warriors from MK City Kyokushin Karate.

These legends travelled from near and far, stepping into our dojo to support the event, bringing their experience and energy. That’s the beauty of karate, right? It’s about building a community where respect, hard work, and discipline unite us all.

50 Fights – True Kyokushin Spirit!

Not only did we have over 40 fighters, but we also put on an unbelievable 50 fights! Each match embodied the true spirit of Kyokushin Karate—strength, determination, and heart. Some of the battles were intense, pushing everyone to their limits, but that’s what Kyokushin is all about. Testing your mettle. Going beyond the fear and the fatigue, and just pushing through it. You don’t back down.

We had participants as young as 5 years old, and let me tell you, these kids are warriors. They showed up, they faced their fears, and they fought hard. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.

Even some adults can’t claim what these little heroes achieved. They took on the challenge with anxiety in their bellies, but with bravery in their hearts. They didn’t quit. They stepped up, and that’s what we’re all about here at HAITO Karateresilience and character. Win or lose, each fight was a victory for the fighters who had the guts to step into the ring.
