Most kids spend their Easter holidays hunting for chocolate eggs or catching up on sleep. But at HAITO Karate, our students do things a little differently.
How many young athletes can say they spent their break winning national trophies and being interviewed on live radio? Not many—but Timi, Adam, and Rebeka certainly can!

A Morning with PCR FM

Yesterday was an absolute whirlwind of an experience. HAITO Karate was invited to guest on the PCR FM Sports Show with Dipam. It was a fantastic opportunity to step out of the dojo and into the studio to share what Kyokushin karate is all about.
Sensei Gabi led the way, accompanied by three of our superstar students who were still buzzing from their success at the National BKK English Open 2026 just last Saturday.
Champions in the Studio

It wasn’t just their karate kits that made them stand out—it was the silver! Timi, Adam, and Rebeka proudly brought along their trophies from the tournament to show off to the PCR FM listeners.
During the show, the team opened up about:
- Their Start: How they first stepped onto the mats.
- The Grind: What it really takes to train at a high level.
- The Balance: How they manage high-intensity training alongside school and homework.
Seeing them speak so passionately about their journeys was a proud moment for the entire HAITO family. They aren’t just great fighters; they are articulate, dedicated, and inspiring young people.
“Just Give It a Go!”

When Dipam asked what they would say to anyone thinking about starting karate, their message was simple: Just come and try it!
They highlighted that while karate teaches incredible skills and discipline, it’s also about:
- Friendship: Building bonds that go beyond the dojo.
- Adventure: Traveling together to exciting national tournaments.
- Fun: Enjoying the process of getting stronger every day.
