Hey everyone!
I hope this blog finds you chillin’ and enjoying the summer vibes. 🌞
I’ve got some updates about our summer training schedule that I think you’ll be stoked about. Based on what we’ve learned from last year’s summer sessions, many of you jet off for vacations around this time (and seriously, who can blame you? Just make sure you come back! 😁). This means our class numbers drop a bit, so we’ve decided to shake things up a little to make the most out of our time together.
What’s New This Summer?
This summer, we’re hitting pause on learning new techniques for belt gradings. Why? Because we don’t want anyone to miss out while they’re away. Instead, we’re diving into fun and engaging activities that are gonna level up your skills in a big way. Think take-downs, ground fighting, and a bunch of rad self-defense techniques. Each week we’ll focus on something new and exciting!
Fitness Fun 🏃♂️
Fitness is key, and we’ve got some epic plans to get us all in top shape. Remember those killer sessions we did a few weeks back? We’re bringing them back, with a twist.
We’ll be adding an extra 30 minutes for jogging (weather permitting) and other exercises. So, make sure to bring your trainers to every single class. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this. And don’t worry about the weather—if it’s rainy, we’ll shift to katas and indoor fitness in the Dojo.
Participation Matters
I totally get it if you can’t stay for the fitness/jogging/kata class every time, but let’s make a pact to use this opportunity as much as possible. We’ve got some tournaments coming up in autumn and trust me, your fitness and stamina will be crucial. This training is your golden ticket to being prepared and smashing those tournaments.
Important Note
If jogging isn’t your thing or if you can’t join, it’s cool. But you will need to leave the Dojo right after class, as no one can be left unattended inside.
Let’s Make This Summer Epic
I truly believe this new approach is going to make our classes more exciting and productive. Whether you’re going on holiday or sticking around, there’s something for everyone. We’re all going to benefit from this fresh, fun training schedule.
Thank you all for understanding and supporting these changes. I’m super excited for a fantastic summer of training with each and every one of you!
See you in class!
