Big news! On the 9th of November, six of our very own HAITO Karate students will be stepping onto the tatami at the BKG British Open 2024 at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, London. If you’ve ever wanted to see full-contact karate at its finest, there’s no better place. The Crystal Palace National Sports Centre is practically legendary—the historic home of Kyokushin fighting in the UK and Europe. It’s a place where tradition meets adrenaline-fuelled action, and this November it’s playing host to the second British Karate Guild (BKG) Full Contact Knockdown International Championship.
The day will be packed with non-stop action under the rules of Full-Contact Knockdown. You’ll witness intense fights, incredible martial arts demonstrations, and be part of a family-friendly atmosphere that aims to celebrate all that traditional karate has to offer. It’s a chance to experience the rich culture, the respect, and the camaraderie that karate represents.
