BKG Summer Camp—done and dusted! 💪🥋
A huge well done to all our HAITO karatekas who took on a demanding weekend of training, finishing with the challenge of 50 fights on Sunday. It was a weekend that called for commitment, stamina and the determination to keep working as tiredness set in.

Attending a summer camp means stepping beyond the familiar routine of weekly classes and dedicating a whole weekend to karate. It is an opportunity to learn alongside others, challenge yourself and give your training the time and attention it deserves. We are proud of everyone who represented HAITO and committed to that experience.

Sunday’s 50 fights provided a tough finish to an already hard weekend. Repeated rounds of sparring challenge your fitness, concentration and ability to apply your techniques under pressure. As fatigue builds, staying composed and working with each opponent becomes an important part of the practice.
For our HAITO karatekas, taking on this challenge was an achievement worth recognising. There is plenty to bring back to the dojo from an experience like this: lessons to work on, a better understanding of your own abilities and confidence gained from tackling something difficult.
Well done to every HAITO participant. Your willingness to show up, work hard and test yourselves is something to be proud of. We hope you take time to recover and reflect on what you learned before putting those lessons into practice back at the club.
A big thank you to the British Karate Guild for welcoming us and hosting the summer camp. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of a weekend dedicated to Kyokushin training and to share that experience with the wider karate community.

Back to the dojo with more experience and plenty to build on!
