What an incredible day of spirit, skill, and sportsmanship! Yesterday, HAITO Karate was proud to host our 2nd KYOKUSHIN KARATE NOVICE KUMITE TOURNAMENT right here in Peterborough. The Dojo was buzzing with energy as young karateka from our club and esteemed guest clubs, Kyokujitsu Kyokushin Karate and BST Academy (Northampton), stepped onto the tatami to test their abilities and showcase their courage.
It was inspiring to see so many novice competitors, some as young as five years old, demonstrating the core values of Kyokushin β respect, discipline, and perseverance. The atmosphere was electric with support from families, friends, and fellow students. A huge thank you to all the instructors, parents, and volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly and contributed to its great success.
