What an amazing milestone for our Haito Karate Community Club! π
Today we hosted our very first free open karate session, and the turnout, energy, and smiles made it an unforgettable day. ππ₯π
Even though the weather had other plans (it was far too wet for outdoor training π§οΈ), that didnβt stop us β we simply brought the spirit indoors! The dojo was filled with excitement as students, newcomers, and families trained side by side, showing what community karate is all about.
πͺ What We Did

We started with a fun and lively warm-up to get everyone moving and laughing, followed by practising karate basics β blocks, kicks, and stance control β all adapted to suit both beginners and experienced students. To finish, we had a friendly game-style challenge that brought everyone together β karate students, guests, and even a few brave parents joined in! π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦π₯
The energy was electric, the smiles were everywhere, and the dojo felt alive with teamwork, discipline, and fun.
β€οΈ Thank You to Our Supporters
A heartfelt thank you to the Community Fund @TNLCommunityFund for supporting our initiative! π
Their help allowed us to get brand-new training mats, making the space safer and more comfortable for everyone to train β now and in the future.
And of course, a huge thanks to our long-time partners @BlitzSport for their continued support with equipment and gear. Your contribution keeps our community growing strong. π₯β€οΈ
π³ Whatβs Next?
This is just the beginning! β
Weβll be running free, open community classes during half-terms and other school holidays (except Christmas), and everyone is welcome to join β no experience required!
Our goal is to hold these sessions outdoors whenever possible, so keep an eye on our social media pages and Haito Karate Community Club for announcements and schedules.
Letβs keep building confidence, friendship, and community spirit β one kick at a time. π₯β¨
Osu!
