Osu! What a day at HAITO KARATE! 🥋

Today’s 50 Fights event was one of our biggest yet, and the energy in the room was something special. Hard full-contact rounds, determined fighters and a shared commitment to giving everything on the tatami made this a day to remember.
As an instructor, seeing everyone rise to the challenge makes me incredibly proud. Every person who stepped onto the mats helped make today what it was.
Fifty Fights, Plenty of Heart

Taking on 50 fights is a serious challenge. As the rounds build up, it becomes harder to keep your guard strong, stay focused and find the energy for the next exchange. That is where all those hours of training really matter.
Today, we saw that determination again and again. The fights were fierce, and everyone had to work hard. There is something powerful about sharing the mats with people who push you, test you and help you discover how much you can give.
To all our fighters: be proud of the effort you put in today. You earned it.
Building Experience for the Tournaments Ahead

With upcoming tournaments on the horizon, sessions like this are a valuable part of our preparation. Every round offers an opportunity to practise timing, adapt to an opponent and work on keeping technique together as tiredness sets in.
It is also a chance to discover what needs more attention back in training. Perhaps it is keeping your hands up after an attack, managing your pace or finding the confidence to commit to a technique. Those lessons give us something practical to take into the next session.
The experience gained today will help our fighters approach the challenges ahead with a better understanding of their strengths and what they still need to improve.
Iron Sharpens Iron
“Iron sharpens iron” feels especially fitting after today. A good training partner gives you a challenge, and you give them one in return. Both of you leave with something to build on.
That shared effort is a huge part of what makes Kyokushin special. The fighting can be intense, but respect for the person in front of you remains at the heart of it. Today’s 50 Fights brought that spirit to life at HAITO.
Thank You, Fighters!
Thank you to everyone who took part and brought such energy to the dojo. One of our biggest events yet became one we will remember because of the people on those mats and the heart you put into every round.
Take time to rest and recover, and be proud of what you achieved. Then we take those lessons back into training and keep building towards the tournaments ahead.
Help Our Students Reach the European Stage

These events are a fantastic way for students to build stamina, confidence and fighting experience, and prepare for tournaments and gradings. We run them completely free and open to everyone so that as many people as possible have the chance to learn, train and improve.
This time, however, we are asking for a little help from our community.
We now have 3 HAITO students confirmed to compete in Bulgaria this November, representing England on the European stage.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help towards the costs of getting them there and giving them this amazing opportunity.
👉 Find out more and donate through our GoFundMe page.
Thank you for supporting our students and being part of the HAITO community.
Let’s keep pushing, keep improving and keep supporting each other. OSU! 🥋
