Bringing Together 40 Students for a Ceremonial Class
This past week, the energy at HAITO Karate was off the charts! We celebrated our 2nd birthday in grand style, with 40 committed students, both new and long-standing, coming together. The dojo was buzzing with excitement as we kicked off the event with a ceremonial class, reflecting on how far we’ve come since we first opened our doors.
Special Birthday Workout: 102 of Everything!
We began with a dynamic group warm-up, ensuring everyone was prepared for the intensity that was to follow – punches and kicks executed with precision! But this wasn’t just any ordinary session. To mark our second year, we cranked it up a notch with a special birthday workout. Every student pushed through 102 push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and star jumps, symbolising our 2 years of growth, strength, and dedication.
Photo Session with All Students: Kids, Juniors, and Seniors
After the challenging workout, we took a moment to capture the day with a fun photo session! Students from all age groups – kids, juniors, and seniors – posed for their individual group photos, followed by one big group shot of everyone together. These pictures not only captured the spirit of the day but also the unity that HAITO Karate has fostered over the past two years.
Celebrating Our Summer Karate Photo Challenge Winners
The celebration didn’t stop there! We also honoured the amazing talent displayed in our Summer Karate Photo Challenge. A massive congratulations to our TOP 4 winners:
- Daniels Mitkevics – 1st place 🥇
- Milana Tanavina – 2nd place 🥈
- Kevinas Kaupas – 3rd place 🥉
- Lola Gorochova – 3rd place 🥉
These students showcased not only their love for karate but also their creativity, making it tough to choose the winners!
Cake and Disco: Ending the Evening with a Celebration!
What’s a birthday without cake? A huge thanks to Peas of Cake, who provided a stunning cake that not only looked incredible but tasted amazing too! After the cake was cut, we didn’t stop there. The dojo transformed into a party zone, complete with balloons and a disco, where everyone danced and celebrated for a full 2 hours. The dojo was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of energy – proving that HAITO Karate is much more than just a place to train. It’s a true community.
Here’s to many more years of punches, kicks, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. We’re just getting started! 🎈💃
